What is the current status of my order?
Most decal and license plate frame orders will ship within 1-3 business days. Apparel orders may take 5-10 business days depending on the availability of your color choice. In the event of order delays you will be contacted with an update so please make sure to enter a valid email address at checkout. If you have any questions about your order or if you need it by a certain date please fill out the form on the Contact Us page or send an email to questions(at)sweetgfx.com and I will respond as soon as I can.
What are your shipping policies?
Shipping price varies depending on the item and shipping destination, and you can view the shipping price on the cart page before you check out by entering your location. There is also the option to upgrade to Priority mail if desired, price will vary depending on size. You will receive a tracking number for your order once it ships. Shipping within the US should take from 5 to 7 business days for standard flat rate shipping and 1-3 days for priority mail.
For international orders, large text decals may be folded in a way that does not damage the decal to reduce shipping costs. Your decals will be shipped by standard post and are subject to import taxes, VAT and service fees. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are paid by the buyer in their country at time of delivery. Sweet Graffix is not responsible for paying these fees and they are not included in the price of the item or the shipping.
Please give the item time to reach you. It may take 1-2 weeks for international orders to arrive, and in rare cases even longer if it gets held up in customs. Some countries offer package tracking so if that’s available in your country you will receive a tracking number that can be tracked at usps.com.
Why is there tax added to my order?
Pennsylvania sales tax (6%) is added to orders shipping to customers in PA.
Do you do custom or bulk decal orders?
Yes! We can do one decal or hundreds, so just contact us if you need decals for a club, team, business, etc. If you only want one custom decal we can do that too. An artwork fee may apply if we need to spend time getting your decal into a format that is usable by our machines.
What materials are your decals made of?
Our standard decals are made with outdoor-grade, 5 or 6 year vinyl. This is considered a permanent adhesive and will withstand the elements when placed on a car, outside window, or any other smooth surface. The vinyl is not rated for high heat areas, but based on our own testing we have had decals on hot surfaces like brake calipers and inside the engine bay for extended periods of time with no issue.
If you want to put vinyl on a painted wall or any other surface where you worry about removal, we also offer removable vinyl by request. This vinyl should easily peel off but it is not as durable as the standard decals so we don’t recommend it for long-term outdoor projects. It may not stick well to newer low-VOC indoor wall paints, and we recommend testing it in an inconspicuous location just to be safe. We’d be glad to provide samples if needed.
Is it ok to paint or apply clearcoat over decals so they last longer?
In most cases using any type of paint or clearcoat won’t damage the decal. We just recommend that you allow the decal adhesive to fully cure for at least 24 hours after applying, and be careful not to use so much paint at once that it causes the graphic to curl or warp (though in most normal cases you want to avoid this with paint anyway so it should be a non-issue).
Are license plates sold individually or as a set?
At this time all license plate frames are sold individually so if you want one for both the front and back of your car you will need to purchase a quantity of two. For customers in the US you will receive free shipping if you purchase two frames in the same order.
Why does my new license plate frame look smudged or scratched?
The license plate frames often get smudged during the production process, and while we attempt to clean it before shipping sometimes we miss a spot. Just cleaning with water and a gentle soap (if desired) should fix it. As for scratches, the finishes on the license plate frames are thin and may sometimes have scuff marks. These marks are purely cosmetic, and we try not to ship an item that has significant damage. If we messed up and sent a plate frame that is damaged, or if you just aren’t happy with the quality of your item please get in touch so we can make it right.
What about shirts or other apparel?
Sweet Graffix also makes custom shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, bags, or anything else you can think of. We use a special heat-applied material and a heat press to make apparel that is comparable in appearance and durability to screen printed garments. We can make shirts that are textured, glow in the dark, reflective, and more. And since we don’t have the same setup process that is needed for screenprinting, we can easily make one shirt at a time, no minimum order is required (though artwork fees may still apply).
How do gift certificates work?
Gift certificates are available in both digital format and as a physical gift card. They both work in the same way, just enter the code on your shopping cart page or on the checkout page, and the discount will be applied to your order. If the order is more expensive than the value of the gift card you can choose one of our payment methods to cover the balance.
If the cost of the order is less than the value of the gift card, you will receive an email after the order is complete with a new code which will then allow you to use the remainder of the balance on a future order.
What happened to the option of paying with bitcoin?
Unfortunately we’re having some trouble with our bitcoin processing right now. We’re working on a solution and hope to have it back up and running soon. In the meantime if you want to pay with bitcoin we can invoice your order through email so please use the contact form to get in touch.
I paid for my order with bitcoin, so why does it say my order is still on hold?
Bitcoin orders typically take an hour to process, and then a bit longer for the system to update and transfer your order from “on-hold” to “processing”. If it’s been more than 90 minutes since you paid and your account says the order is still on hold please don’t hesitate to contact us.
